THE MCENTIRE TEAM
Judith
Judith
comes from Germany and her passion for horses started at a very young age. She
started off riding and showing jumping horses in her teens. She also began
giving lessons to Amateur riders and youth kids. At 16 years of age, Judith rode
her first Quarter Horse at the Rain River Ranch near Regensburg where the
American Trainer Pat Faitz gave a clinic.
Judith was hooked on the Reining right away and showed and rode Reining Horses already very successfully at local shows in Germany. When she was 18 her parents moved to South America, Colombia, were Judith finished school and got her German school degree the ‘Abitur’. During that time she started flying frequently to Florida during school vacation, to learn from the established horsetrainer and also AQHA judge and NRHA judge, Pat Faitz. During that time she started to show in the States and won several AQHA shows in the disciplines Reining and Pleasure.
After Judith finished school in the middle of 2000, she started immediately working for Classic S Ranch in Germany, where she was training young horses and also finished Reining horses for 2,5 years. During that time she put several halter points and Grand Champion titles on some of the young horses owned by Classic S.
In 2003 she started working for the NRHA Hall of Famer and first Million Dollar rider in NRHA history Bill Horn. During that time she did not just start the young horses for Bill but also was able to assist him in training his show horses and having her own string of show horses. In 2005 Judith was the Lazy E limited Open Champion, and placed on almost every show she went to. This was an extraordinary opportunity to be able to work for this incredible horseman/trainer.
After three years of training and successfully showing horses in the States, she decided to move back to Europe to start up a own business with Olivier van den Berg.
Within just a couple of years living in France she was able to establish her name as a good Trainer and Non Pro Coach. One of her Rookie riders won the Rookie of the year award in 2009. Some of her achievements were winning the 2008 Highpoint Open Champion Title, and the qualification of 4 horses in three divisions for the French Championships in 2008. She also qualified in those years she worked in Europe every year one or more horses for the European Championships. End of 2009 she moved to Holland and showed in 2010 successfully at national shows in Holland and Belgium competing at international level.
