Nathan Morton

Nathan was born in North Carolina and used to work Mike a few years ago before moving to Arizona to broaden his horizons working for Troy Heikes. Nathan rode and showed some great horses for Troy winning the Cactus Classic Derby, Top 10 Ltd Open at the NRBC, Summer Slide Open Finalist and top 5 Ltd Open at the Southwest Futurity. Nathan worked with Troy for 2 1/2 years before going to Craig Schmersal's in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Nathan earned some good money showing Futurity and Derby horses at Craig's. Nathan then returned to North Carolina early in July 2010 and is a great asset to Mike's show team. Nathan won the Level 1, 2 and 3 Open Futurity in Perry GA on his first outing riding Mike and Nathalie's Nics Dream Command and we are looking forward to watching him show in the next few months.
